My e-Communication Blog

 This year was my junior year in high school which means I have been in e-Communication for 3 years. For me, this year has been a very interesting year. In the e-Communication program we have 5 guarantees, Technology, Collaboration, Communication, Project Management, and Leadership. All 5 guarantees are supposed to help you be a better student here in the e-Communications program.  Technology     Technology is the first guarantee that was taught in the e-Comm program. To me technology would be referring to the computers and how to use the software on them. One valuable information that I have gotten from this guarantee is learning new software might be difficult at first but once you continue to work on that software, then it starts to get easier. I feel that this valuable information is important because when we were learning how to do animations in Adobe Flash it was difficult at first. What's the Project? In web design we had to find a high school website that was bland and we were gonna redesign the homepage. The high school that I chose was Yates Center high School in Yates Center, Ks. After finding the high school we had to find a known company. After we found the company we had to make the high school logo look like the company logo and we also had to have the high school home page look like the company's website. My company that I chose was Taco Bell. My Experiences Making the high school's home page look like Taco Bell's website was a little challenging. Before I could start designing the website I had to look at Taco Bell's website and analyze the CSS that they use on their website. Next, I had to find the right transition to use so that when you hover over the pictures of the people their names show up. After I got the right transition, I started to create the home page. What is it? The extension that I'm gonna be talking about is most helpful for anyone who likes to draw, need to take a break from doing work, and anyone who is making sketches.
