Tim Berners-Lee   In Web Design we learned about the guy who invented the World Wide Web. This guys’ name is Sir Tim Berners-Lee. Sir Tim Berners Lee is also known as TimBL. Sir Tim Berners-Lee was born on June 8, 2015 in London, England.  Berners-Lee is an English computer scientist also known as the creator of he World Wide Web. Berners-Lee invented the World Wide Web in 1989. When Tim Berners-Lee invented the Web he was at CERN, which is the European Particle Physics Laboratory. This is where I got my information over Tim Berners-Lee: Tim Berners-Lee Wikipedia Tim Berners-Lee Info Hexadecimal Colors In Web Design after we learned about Tm Berners-Lee and why he is our hero we moved on to learn about Hexadecimal Colors. In Hexadecimal Colors Hexadecimal means base 16-place values are powers of 16. For this project we used hexadecimal color codes to make the colors of the rainbow. For example, the color code for black is #000000. 

In exploring graphic design this week we started a project called pencil. This project was a three-part project. The first project we made the pencil and can just how the instructions say to. The second part of the project was to make a pencil but this time make it your own. Our last and final part of the project was to create two things that go together, for example a cellphone and ear buds. To create this project we used Adobe Illustrator for the whole project. THE PENCIL AND THE CAN       The first part of the project for me was the easiest because all you had to do was read the instructions on the paper and do exactly what it says. We first had to make the pencil, which was really easy. After we made the pencil we moved on to making the can of the pencil. The can of the pencil was a little trickier then the pencil. Graphic Design to me means to communicate something using words and images. Graphic Design is everywhere from stop signs to take out menus at restaurants. Graphic Design can help everyone make his or her lives better. Using Graphic Design can make the world a better place! Graphic Design helps us understand who we are.         Three things that are “the language for living” as a graphic designer is concept, idea, and life. Being a graphic designer doesn’t mean you have to be a good drawer. To be a graphic designer you have to be really interested in understanding human behavior. Such as understanding how people think or how they choose decisions. The basic things that a graphic designer deals with are typography and color theory.        Graphic Design has a lot to do with words and images.
