My e-Communication Blog

This artwork that is shown above is called a color wheel that I have made myself. The color wheel was made in illustrator. There are three different sections of the color wheel. One section is called the primary colors which include the colors red, blue, yellow (Kansas Jay hawks Colors WHOOO). The next section is called the secondary colors which includes orange, green, and violet. The last section on the color wheel is the tertiary colors which is the primary and secondary colors mixed together. Some of the tertiary colors are blue-green, red-orange, and yellow-green. One thing to remember about tertiary colors is that you always start with the primary color's name.   The color wheel was easy and fun to make and I will also be using the color wheel more often. Colors can also be classified into different groups for example red and green are across from each other so they are complimentary which is colors that are right across from each other on the color wheel.  ...

What is Graphic Design? According to Google the definition of graphic design is the art or skill of combining text and pictures in advertisements, magazines, or books . In my own words I think that the definition of graphic design is to be able to communicate using words and images. Graphic Design is the language of living. Graphic Design involves not just letters but it also involves landmarks. To me the main idea of what graphic design is to do what you think is right . 

This is my last video for the video branch. I am now going to the graphic design branch of e-communication.   This video is about my friend interviewing me about what I had learned in the video part of e-communication. I had learned a lot in the video part of e-communication. Some stuff that I had learned is learning new tools like for example I had learned a new tool called the blade tool and you can use it by hitting command B on a mac computer and that makes you be able to cut out stuff that you don’t need. I have also leaned new ways to film a video using the six shot sequence. I am sad to leave the video part of e-comm but I can’t wait to see what other stuff there is in the e-comm. The video part of e-comm really helped me know how to film a video and it also helped me with getting to know a new app called Final Cut Pro. I hope you enjoy the video.
