My e-Communication Blog

This is my new e-comm project called the Chase scene. This chase scene is about a boy chasing his basketball around the school.In this project I had learned how to make another type of video called the chase scene video. Some things that I will apply to my next project are to keep using the six shot sequence. The six shot sequence has the medium, close-up, extra close-up, wide, extra wide, and over the shoulder shots. Collaboration in this project was different than my other projects because in this project if we didn't talk about what we were going to film then we might have not had a project at all. Collaboration is different in this project also because we now have different ideas on how to make the project run more smoothly. I can improve collaboration in my next project by thinking of more unique ides on how to do different scenes instead of doing some scenes that were already used in other peoples project. 

This is another video that was created in my e-comm class. A few friends and I made this video. With this video I learned how to make the video speed up at a part that I wanted to have speed up. In my next project I will apply using the speed up tool to make the video go faster than the normal speed. Also in my next project I will use the six shot sequence a lot more. The definition of collaboration is the action of working with a group to create something or make a project. This applied to my group because Sammi had helped me with how to make the video speed up when I needed it to be faster. There was Collaboration in the group also when one person was filming it while another person is the actor or actress in the video. Collaboration that happened in my project was making sure we had all six shot sequence shots done.

      My  Myers-Briggs personality type is ISFP. ISFP's are people who don't worry about the future and enjoys the present moment. They are also people who are  committed  and very loyal. ISFP's like to work on their own time and enjoys having their own space to work. ISFP's don't like disagreements and conflicts- you can expect us to not get involved with your disagreement and conflicts. Sunday, September 7, 2014 Six Shot Sequence This video was filmed by me in my e-communication class. We used a system called the Six Shot Sequence. There was an extra close-up shot, close-up shot, medium shot, over the shoulder shot, wide shot, and an extra-wide shot. An extra-close up shot was really close to a certain object. The close-up shot was a shot that was bigger than an extra close-up but it was smaller than medium shot. Medium shot was used in this video which was from about the waist up. Over the shoulder shot was being taken over the shoulder so you can see part of the shoulder and of the thing you are looking at. A wide shot was a shot that showed the whole person or an area. While there was also an extra-wide shot which showed off a bigger area . I had learned that there is alot of ways to take a video instead of just the regular shot.
